Warm up 5pm, Start 5.30pm
Age at 31st December 2026
Venue – Bridlington Leisure Centre, Promenade , Bridlington YO25 2QQ
Pool – 25m six-lane swimming pool, with starting blocks – Timing, 2 timekeepers per lane + chief timekeeper
Session Times – Warm-up 5pm, Start 5.30pm
Events – 9yrs to 15yrs and over – 25m and 50m all strokes
Awards – 1st to 6th –all age groups
Entry cards – This meet will operate as a cardless meet.
Withdrawal’s – Entry withdrawal forms must be presented to the recorders desk 15mins prior to warmup
Spectators – Admission, Adults £5.00 (includes free raffle ticket), Children/OAPs £2.00
Photography – Registration on entry for anyone wishing to engage in zoom or close range photography
Footwear – No outdoors shoes to be worn on the poolside. Swimmers must wear footwear and t shirt when leaving poolside
Coaches/team manager
Coaches and Team Managers are requested to ensure their swimmers respect the officials and are silent at the start of each heat. Team Managers / Coaches must supervise the warm up of their swimmers.

Event 2 – Mixed Girls & Boys, Open – 50m Breaststroke
Event 3 – Mixed Girls & Boys, 12 & Under – 25m Backstroke
Event 4 – Mixed Girls & Boys, Open – 50m Butterfly
Event 5 – Mixed Girls & Boys, 12 & Under – 25m Breaststroke
Event 6 – Mixed Girls & Boys, Open – 50m Freestyle
Event 7 – Mixed Girls & Boys, 12 & Under – 25m Butterfly
Event 8 – Mixed Girls & Boys, Open – 50m Backstroke

- All entries are £4.00 per individual event.
- Entries will be accepted electronically via sports systems entry file
- Entry closing date 13th June 2026
- The gala will be held under SE Laws and Technical Rules of Swimming
- This gala is a Level 4 Meet
- Age is at 31st December 2026
- The one start rule will apply.
- Over the top starts will be used at the discretion of the referee
- Swimmers must start in the water unless they hold the current and relevant competitive start award.
- Swimmers are requested to remain in the water until asked to leave by the referee
- Integrated heats will be seeded according to entry times
- All events are heat declared
- The referees decision is final
- No Strobe will be in operation
- The Female category is for birth sex females in accordance with Swim England’s Transgender and Non-Binary Competition Policy. By entering the ‘Female’ category, a swimmer confirms that their birth sex is female.
